Thank you for choosing  Gateway Belize. By reading and signing Gateway Belize’s terms during booking, you are agreeing to abide by the policies and procedures detailed below.  Please read them carefully.

Check-in time varies depending on the hotel being booked. We will provide you with the individual check-in times during the consultation and reservation process. Most resorts will be happy to store your luggage until your room is ready. Guests may be required to present a valid credit/debit card upon check-in along with a valid form of identification to cover any incidentals. GATEWAY BELIZE will make every effort to honor special requests. Individual hotels reserve all rights to refuse service to any guests of their establishment who do not follow or comply with their policies.

Check-out time also varies depending on the resort. Some may offer late check-out as a courtesy or for a small fee. Please contact us if you have a request so we can make these arrangements for you in advance.

Any cancellations of travel packages, in-country flights, or accommodations must be made 15 days prior to your arrival date to obtain a refund.  A 25% fee will be applied based on the total cost of the services booked.  If cancellations are made 14 or less days in advance, no refunds will be available.

Any changes or cancellations of individual day tours or in-country transportation made:

• More than 48 hours before your scheduled trip departure, will be charged an administrative fee of 10% for each participant.
• Less than 48 hours of your scheduled departure, no refund fees will be provided.
• No shows are responsible for 100% of the cost; no refunds will be provided

Parties of 10+ people: If a reduced number of participants will be able to go on booked tours, Gateway Belize must be notified in writing (by email) no later than 72 hours prior to the tour.  An administrative fee of 10% for each participant will be charged, and if a group discount was given, this will also be subtracted from the refund should the number of participants fall below the minimum required for the refund.  No refunds will be granted within 72 hours of the tour. There are no refunds for no shows.

Inclement Weather: Tours will proceed as scheduled in light rain and other mild weather conditions.  Belize does have a rainy season as well as some severe storms.  Management reserves the right to cancel any tour or transportation for safety reasons at any time.   In the rare event that we do have to cancel a tour due to flooding or any other natural events beyond our control, you will have the opportunity to reschedule your tour (subject to availability) or receive credit towards a future event.

 Guests must be 18 years or older to check in without a parent or legal guardian.  All ages are welcome on our vacations, however some specific day tours may have age or height restrictions.

 If you choose to take advantage of any promotions offered through the Gateway Belize, please read carefully all restrictions associated with each offer. Management reserves the right to change or cancel all promotions at any time without prior notice.
